Order, Order, Order!!!
Good Morning Everyone!!
I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was filled with reflection, analyzing and planning. Since I have the moniker, The Life Architect, I should practice what I preach right? My main message is Design Your Life…Build Your Future. This is what I help people to do, all day every day. But I have a confession…I haven’t been following my own advice and message (yikes!). I have allowed life’s turns and twists sway me back and forth in different directions. It’s even evident in my blog posts! August and September has been a little hay wire, but I recognized it and now I am taking action and living a Designed Life. Now don’t get worried I will not be boring or unlike myself, I will simply have more structure. And structure is good!
For those of you who do not know, I am an entrepreneur, mother, life coach, social media strategist, etc. It seems like a lot but it only becomes overwhelming when I don’t have a system. I want to continue to provide all of you with quality content, so to do that my blog will be as follow:
- Mondays-Marketing/Business/Entrepreneurship
- Tuesdays-Relationships
- Wednesdays-Spirituality
- Thursdays-Health and Wellness
- Fridays-Personal Development
- Saturdays-Social Media
- Sundays-The Art of Blogging
I look forward to sharing my experience, expertise, and thoughts in all of these areas! I will be setting up an email list so that we can stay connected. I will be launching my website soon and I want you all to be apart of it!!
Design Your Life…Build Your Future!
Set Your Mind…Design Your Life
mind·set
- Identify Your Goals: They need to be specific, realistic, relevant, and have a target date
- Develop A Mission Statement: This is a detailed action statement as to how you are going to achieve your goals
- Train Your Mind: Buy books, watch videos, listen to audio, and attend seminars that will help you guide your mind towards your goals.
“Once your mind expands, it can never go back to it’s original state.”
Organize Your Dreams!
“First comes thought; then organization of that thought, into ideas and plans; then transformation of those plans into reality. The beginning, as you will observe, is in your imagination.”
Napoleon Hill
I recently began reading Napoleon Hill and I AM IN LOVE! In my opinion he is one of the most thought provoking American authors…ever. His teachings and philosophies are simple yet profound. The above quote gave me such an “ah-ha” moment. I intepreted it to mean: Having an imagination is great, but through organization of thought and execution of action, your wildest dreams can become your reality.
I challenge you and myself to organize our dreams! Create a vision board. Now with social media tool such as pinterest you can have a virtual vision board!
Are You Willing to Look Past Today?
Today is an amazing day for me!! Why, you may ask? Because I took a look through my telescope of life and saw a phenomenal future that is waiting for me. Now, I just have to take the necessary steps to make it a reality. Many times people get so caught up in the here and now, that they rob themselves of VISION.
Vision is to see something in the future that gets you excited and motivated today.
Can you see your future? What does it look like? I want to you to picture every detail of your success in the future and set goals so that you can design the life you want. You only get one life, make it the best one EVER!
Is Success Important?
suc·cess
favorable or desired outcome; the attainment of wealth, favor, or eminence.
There was a time when I thought success was measured by popularity and material things. I assumed that if I didn’t have those two things then I wasn’t successful. I did not realize that popularity and material ‘trinkets’ are considered superficial success. Someone can be popular but not respected. You can have many possessions but be morally destitute. I lived a life full of things and void of fulfillment.
So now that we know what success is NOT, let us dig into what is considered success.
Goals- If you have goals and work constantly and consistently to achieve them…SUCCESS!
Values- If you set values for yourself and uphold them…SUCCESS!
Vision-If you can see what life is like in the future and create passion for it in the present…SUCCESS
These are just a few examples of what I think success is.
How do you define SUCCESS?
